Hotel Staff: Enjoy your stay!

[After Lloyd is left alone, there's a knock on the door.]

Lloyd: Yeah, it's open!

[Genis walks in and is greeted by Lloyd, but he runs past him without a word when he notices the bed further inside.]

Genis: Wow, nice place! This bed's as soft as a cloud! Hahaha!

Lloyd: Heh, right? Though honestly it's way too big for just me.

Genis: Aw, boo hoo. I wish I had your problems.

Lloyd: You can stay here. I just said there's tons of space.

Genis: Can I?! Wait, do you snore? Promise you won't snore.

Lloyd: Only if you promise not to toss and turn all night.

Genis: Heh heh. How long has it been? Since I used to sleep over at your house, I guess.

Lloyd: We've come an awful long way from the village, huh?

Genis: No kidding. A whole different world.

Lloyd: Yup.

Genis: And someday, you'll go far away and I won't be able to follow.

Lloyd: What?

[Genis hangs his head.]

Genis: I wish you were a half-elf, too.

Lloyd: Genis, look, we're here now, right?

[Genis looks up again.]

Genis: Yeah, I suppose we are.
